Base Salary
$180k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop the next-generation pipeline for building, releasing, and testing Tanium products and services.
- Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
- Deploy and maintain critical applications on cloud-native microservices architecture.
- Build tools with product security teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
- Design monitoring systems for critical infrastructure, plan future capacity, and respond rapidly to incidents.
- Improve deployment quality and velocity through automation and engineering best practices.
- Plan, execute, and support scheduled infrastructure improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a computer science degree is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, DevOps, or SRE roles.
- 5+ years of experience managing cloud-based services with AWS, GCP, or Azure, with AWS preferred.
- 3+ years of infrastructure-as-code experience with Pulumi or Terraform, with Pulumi preferred.
- 3+ years of production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Deep networking knowledge and the ability to build and maintain complex networks.
- 3+ years of experience writing software that uses third-party APIs, with Go preferred.
- Experience with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or another configuration-management suite.
- Experience with Git, GitHub Actions, and JIRA.
- Experience with virtualization technologies including VirtualBox, VMware Fusion, and vCenter.
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments and metrics systems including Grafana, Prometheus, and InfluxDB.
- Experience working in Linux environments and with test and process automation.
- Strong debugging, judgment, automation, collaboration, customer-centricity, and production incident response skills.

- Annual base salary range of $180,000 to $270,000, plus equity awards.
