Responsibilities
- Contribute to product development from early concept through design, validation, release, and manufacturing support.
- Design, develop, debug, test, and document embedded software for instrumentation devices.
- Coordinate with hardware, PC software, and certification engineers on system debugging and testing.
- Analyze and implement functional requirements with attention to scalability, extensibility, complexity, performance, cost, and quality.
- Document results, share knowledge, support colleagues, and implement actions to resolve quality problems.
- Apply product quality, functional assurance, and IP-management practices throughout the design process.
- Support the assigned Sales organization and customers during proposal activities by preparing technical descriptions, cost determinations, and final documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronic Engineering from a reputed university.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in embedded device software development, preferably with electronic measurement instruments.
- Hands-on experience with C/C++, DSP or ARM platforms, and hardware driver development.
- Proficiency developing with embedded operating systems such as uC/OS, RTOS, FreeRTOS, eCos, VxWorks, or Linux.
- Solid knowledge of IDEs and experience with IAR, CCS, or Keil.
- Strong interest in physics and sensing technologies.
- Domain knowledge in process automation, industrial applications, automotive, or medical technologies, with process automation preferred.
- Knowledge of fieldbus and industrial communication protocols such as Modbus and Ethernet TCP/IP; HART, Profibus, Profinet, and industrial Ethernet are advantageous.
- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, IDEs, or Jira is a plus.
