Responsibilities
- Assist with the design and development of new and existing electronic control systems and components for powertrain and chassis products.
- Support problem resolution for automotive electronic control systems and components.
- Learn and apply C coding for automotive electronic control units.
- Gain exposure to MIL-SIL testing, static testing, electronic control systems, and CAN vehicle communication.
- Maintain compliance with Magna’s quality, safety, information protection, and operational policies.
- Complete additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in an engineering program at an accredited school.
- Have basic knowledge of C coding and scripting languages.
- Understand basic engineering theory and design principles.
- Have working knowledge of computer-based software and the ability to communicate and work effectively in a team environment.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is strongly preferred.
- Be willing to learn vector CAN tools, compilers, debuggers, requirements traceability, and automotive electronic control systems.
