Responsibilities
- Solve complex cloud engineering challenges as a trusted technical lead.
- Drive DevOps practices and collaboration within the Cloud Platform Engineering Team.
- Develop cloud reference architectures and guide implementation across teams.
- Influence architectural decisions and improve CI/CD pipelines.
- Build secure, high-performing, resilient, and efficient cloud infrastructure.
- Streamline delivery processes and provide self-service experiences for development and operations teams.
- Mentor junior team members and lead code and design reviews.
- Stay current with cloud technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent related discipline.
- 5–7 years of directly related, increasingly complex experience in cloud engineering roles.
- Expertise in at least one major cloud vendor, with GCP preferred.
- Experience using public cloud platforms through both console and API interfaces.
- Experience automating cloud solutions including applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, and data.
- Experience developing with Go, Python, and/or Shell/Bash.
- Strong knowledge of system design and operational and reliability trade-offs.
- Practical understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum.
