$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and build software and standardized manufacturing test stations for satellite functional testing, calibration, and provisioning.
- Develop software infrastructure for test-case execution and manufacturing orchestration across factory production lines.
- Build development automation and support software quality, release, testing, and operations processes.
- Gather and document software requirements while aligning with manufacturing, product, security, and satellite component stakeholders.
- Enable automated data collection and analysis and deliver end-user documentation.
- Develop and maintain secure manufacturing software systems with chain-of-custody protocols protecting intellectual property and manufacturing assets.
- Support manufacturing and new product development for satellites, ground equipment, and associated ASICs.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, technical lead, or engineering team lead.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, refugee, or asylee due to export-control requirements.

- The base salary range is $168,100.00–$227,400.00 USD annually, with potential sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
