Base Salary
$119k - $191k/yr
Responsibilities
- Engage senior technical decision-makers at robotics companies building mobile and service robots.
- Understand how the voice solution runs on customer hardware and design appropriate technical integrations.
- Resolve technical roadblocks, convert evaluations into commitments, and support signed deals.
- Deliver technical evaluations, proofs of concept, and proof-of-value engagements.
- Work with sales, product, and professional services on selling, delivery, onboarding, and post-sales handoffs.
- Feed customer hardware conditions and field learnings into future product development.
Requirements
- Have a background in computer science, software engineering, or a related engineering discipline developed through hands-on development or solutions or sales engineering experience.
- Understand robotics software stacks, including ROS 2, vendor SDKs, perception, SLAM-based navigation, Nav2, MoveIt 2, foundation models, agentic orchestration, RobOps platforms, VDA 5050, ERP, and WMS systems.
- Have working knowledge of robotics hardware, including onboard compute, sensor suites, actuation, end-effectors, power and charging or docking systems, and robot platforms.
- Have experience with technical evaluations, proof-of-concept delivery, proof-of-value engagements, onboarding, and post-sales handoffs.
- Demonstrate proficiency with cloud-edge hybrid architectures and embedded systems.
- Communicate effectively with engineering teams and senior stakeholders and collaborate with sales, product, and professional services teams.
- Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, robotics, software engineering, AI, or a related discipline.
- Be able to travel regularly to customer sites, approximately 20%–30%.
