Base Salary
$125k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and productionize scalable internal tools and AI workflows for autonomous vehicle programs.
- Integrate data across requirements management, modeling, and validation tools for end-to-end traceability.
- Build backend services and APIs to unify distributed engineering artifacts into a cohesive platform.
- Develop dashboards and KPIs to measure requirement coverage and validation progress.
- Own and evolve the core traceability data model for bidirectional traceability and change impact analysis.
- Refactor internal prototypes into production-grade systems with strong reliability and auditability.
- Collaborate with systems engineering, safety, and autonomy teams to support compliance and safety case development.
- Scale internal tooling to support production programs and future regulatory needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional experience in backend software development or platform engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with Java or C/C++.
- Experience designing and building REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with data modeling, schema design, and integrating systems via APIs.
- Experience building scalable backend services and working with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong systems thinking and ability to work across complex technical domains.
