Base Salary
$118k - $168k/yr
Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities across the application stack.
- Design, maintain, and deliver enterprise integration solutions connecting diverse systems.
- Lead migration of the product to a modern platform while preserving functionality, performance, security, and scalability.
- Develop high-performance system-level functionality in C/C++ and framework enhancements in Java.
- Monitor and update third-party libraries, frameworks, and components and assess upgrade impacts.
- Collaborate with Support, QA, DevOps, and Product Management to validate changes and minimize disruption.
- Document security fixes, migration steps, and technical decisions.
Requirements
- Require 8–15 years of professional software development experience focused on backend systems.
- Require expert-level proficiency in C and C++ and strong production experience with Java.
- Require deep knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, memory management, inter-process communication, and Java web frameworks such as Apache Struts.
- Require experience building middleware and automation integrations for enterprise applications.
- Require a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-native integration strategies, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, OWASP, ISO 27001, and related security standards.
