Base Salary
$118k - $168k/yr
Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities across the application stack.
- Implement secure coding practices and maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Design, maintain, and deliver integration solutions connecting enterprise systems.
- Use C/C++ for system-level resource management and Java for framework development.
- Lead migration of the product to a modern platform while preserving functionality, performance, and security.
- Monitor and update third-party libraries, frameworks, and components.
- Assess compatibility and performance impacts of dependency upgrades.
- Collaborate with Support, QA, DevOps, and Product Management teams.
- Document security fixes, migration steps, and technical decisions.
Requirements
- 8–15 years of professional software development experience focused on backend systems.
- Expert-level proficiency in C and C++ and strong production experience with Java.
- Deep understanding of multithreading, concurrency, memory management, inter-process communication, and Java web frameworks such as Apache Struts.
- Proven experience with middleware and automation tools for connecting enterprise applications.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native integration strategies is preferred.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing is preferred.
- Understanding of OWASP, ISO 27001, and other compliance frameworks or security standards is preferred.
