Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own the bring-up, integration, and checkout of GNC and flight automation software on test aircraft.
- Develop, review, and execute flight-test cards for GNC performance, stability margins, guidance accuracy, and autonomy validation.
- Triage flight-test issues involving GNC and flight software, lead root-cause investigations, and coordinate fixes.
- Support flight readiness reviews, test readiness reviews, and configuration management processes.
- Develop and maintain test frameworks, automated testing frameworks, simulation tools, and software/system validation processes.
- Contribute to flight controls and mission management software development in C++.
- Develop and maintain Python tools and scripts for pre-flight prediction, real-time monitoring, and post-flight evaluation.
- Correlate simulation predictions with flight data and identify model improvements.
- Develop, debug, integrate, and optimize embedded software across hardware and software boundaries.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of work experience and a bachelor’s degree.
- Experience working close to hardware and debugging in integrated environments.
- Experience with real-time or safety-critical software systems.
- Understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including networking, fault tolerance, and system design.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies across different problem domains.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must qualify as a US Person under 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 to meet US export control compliance requirements.
- Desired qualifications include aerospace work experience, flight-test program experience, mission management, robotics or autonomous-systems experience, familiarity with Bazel, and experience with messaging frameworks for distributed systems.
