Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend features using Python and Flask.
- Translate complex contractual and business requirements into APIs, data models, and backend logic.
- Process and manipulate data using Pandas and Pydantic.
- Design and optimize SQL-based data models and queries.
- Containerize applications and services using Docker.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve application performance in AWS.
- Implement and maintain observability using Grafana, Elasticsearch/Kibana, and Sentry.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and frontend developers using React and Highcharts.
- Contribute to high-impact technology and SAP transformation projects.
Requirements
- Strong experience in backend development with Python, preferably Flask.
- Solid understanding of API design, data modeling, and relational databases using SQL.
- Experience working in large or legacy codebases.
- Familiarity with AWS, Docker, and monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in the energy sector or with contract management systems is desirable.
- Exposure to data processing and analytics tools and understanding of the React ecosystem are desirable.
