Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software products.
- Take full-stack ownership by writing production-ready, testable code.
- Create scalable, reliable, and performant technical designs using architectural best practices.
- Analyze failures, propose design changes, and drive operational improvements.
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance on engineering best practices and development procedures.
- Ensure product development follows compliance and security best practices.
- Prioritize and size work for incremental delivery while communicating blockers and delays.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Three to five years of relevant experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of COBOL, DB2, JCL, and VSAM.
- Ability to define and fulfill solution requirements for end users.
- Understanding of algorithms, data structures, architectural design patterns, and software development best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate processes and results with engineers, product owners, scrum masters, vendors, and customers.
