Responsibilities
- Build and maintain custom SharePoint solutions for Microsoft 365 and SharePoint on-premises farms.
- Create rich web interfaces using HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, jQuery, React, and Angular.
- Develop server-side functionality with ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET MVC, CSOM, C#, and the SharePoint server-side API.
- Own detailed design and delivery for assigned solution components and mentor junior developers.
- Oversee unit, system, acceptance, performance, and load testing, including issue remediation.
- Transition completed projects to support and maintenance teams.
- Perform custom deployments using PnP and PowerShell.
- Collaborate with project teams and clients on scoping, requirements gathering, work planning, technical envisioning, and functional specifications.
- Support legacy on-premises solutions using WSPs, timer jobs, feature receivers, and full-trust code.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience customizing SharePoint with JavaScript and C#.
- At least two years of experience administering and monitoring SharePoint or Microsoft 365 tenants.
- Bachelor of Science in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Expertise with Visual Studio and VSTS/TFS.
- Experience with object-oriented development, architectural patterns, software development best practices, n-tier architectures, and service-oriented architectures.
- Experience with ORM tools including Entity Framework or nHibernate and LINQ.
- Experience packaging and deploying SharePoint JavaScript applications using Visual Studio, gulp, and webpack.
- Strong communication, collaboration, client relationship management, requirements analysis, and mentoring skills.
- Preferred experience with layered architectures, scalable and high-performance web applications, LESS, HTML5, Bootstrap, SASS, native mobile development, Azure, AWS, and consulting.
