Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications and features using Python and Django.
Write clean, maintainable, efficient code and refactor existing code when necessary.
Integrate databases, key-value stores, and blob stores into application solutions.
Collaborate with frontend developers on integration of user-facing elements with backend logic.
Implement authentication, authorization, security, and data protection measures.
Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize applications for speed and scalability.
Troubleshoot and debug application issues and provide timely resolutions.
Collaborate with project managers, designers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver software features.
Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, mentorship, and continuous technical improvement.

Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Python and Django development; the role description also references 4+ years.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience developing and deploying Django-based web applications.
Proficiency in Python and strong Django web-development experience.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, and Git.
Understanding of web services, software development principles, and design patterns.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with React or Angular is a plus.
Experience with GCP and relevant Python, Django, or web-development certifications is beneficial.
Candidates must be Mumbai-based, demonstrate job stability, and be immediate joiners or have a notice period of 30 days or less.

Full-time, on-site role based at the Rentokil PCI office in Goregaon West, Mumbai.
In-person walk-in interview on 9 June 2026 from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM; no virtual interviews.
Preference for candidates residing on Mumbai’s Western Line.
