Base Salary
$99k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead platform DevOps teams in developing and operating container management software and secure cloud platforms.
- Guide cloud strategy, platform design, containerization standards, and client recommendations.
- Build and operate AWS infrastructure across compute, networking, storage, and IAM.
- Deploy, manage, scale, troubleshoot, and secure Kubernetes workloads, including service networking and persistent storage.
- Develop Ansible automation and infrastructure-as-code solutions, and automate infrastructure and operational tasks with Python or Bash.
- Improve DevOps and DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and releases across environments.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience developing DevOps or DevSecOps tools and processes, operating AWS infrastructure, and managing Kubernetes workloads.
- Experience with Ansible automation, infrastructure as code, Python or Bash scripting, and diagnosing cloud, container, and application deployment issues.
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering or Mathematics, including specified engineering, computer science, information technology, or information systems disciplines.
- Agile Developer or Certified Scrum Developer Certification.
- Preferred experience includes AWS GovCloud, DoD Impact Level 5 environments, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, security testing integration, databases or search platforms, enterprise identity services, secrets, certificates, monitoring, rollback, and recovery processes.
- Preferred qualifications include a relevant master’s degree, DoD 8570 IAM Level II or III certification such as CISSP, CISM, or CAP/ISC2 CGRC, and AWS, Kubernetes, Red Hat, or Infrastructure Automation certifications.
