Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases for projects, maintenance releases, and emergency releases.
- Translate business use cases and manual test cases into reliable, reusable automation scripts.
- Automate functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end test scenarios.
- Analyze test results, report and track defects, support root cause analysis, and verify fixes.
- Maintain and improve automation frameworks, test data, and reusable components.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, business analysts, and internal or external stakeholders on testing strategies.
- Contribute to adoption of AllinWeb, interface testing, and future script-based testing capabilities.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in software testing, including hands-on test automation.
- Experience designing and executing functional, regression, and end-to-end test cases.
- Programming or scripting knowledge and a good understanding of object-oriented concepts.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to learn new tools, frameworks, and banking functional areas.
- Preferred: experience with AllinWeb or comparable automation tools.
- Preferred: knowledge of source version control and CI/CD practices.
- Preferred: banking knowledge in payments, onboarding, securities operations, trading, tax, or regulatory reporting.
- Preferred: Avaloq or Oracle database knowledge.
