- Translate ambiguous real-world problems into perception and robotics ML architectures and lead demonstrations and proof-of-concept scoping.
- Design and build computer vision and perception systems for detection, segmentation, and pose estimation using 3D geometry.
- Develop sensor calibration and fusion systems, including intrinsic/extrinsic, hand-eye, and LiDAR-camera calibration.
- Process LiDAR data for registration, ground segmentation, and object detection.
- Build egocentric data collection pipelines using wrist- and head-mounted cameras, depth sensors, and IMUs.
- Bridge simulation and deployment through domain randomization, simulation setup, and sim-to-real analysis.
- Evaluate, select, integrate, and fine-tune VLA models under data and compute constraints.
- Build agentic loops, REST/gRPC APIs, PostgreSQL-backed services, and robotics model-inference services.
- Mentor engineers, make principled technical decisions, and translate current research into client implications.
Requirements
