Responsibilities

Set technical strategy for the team on a year-long time scale.
Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics throughout the product development lifecycle.
Define and advocate for technical solutions and operational processes.
Ensure team operations and availability with proper monitoring and alerting.
Establish code review and design standards, promoting a culture of quality.
Provide feedback and guidance to develop talent within the team.
Participate in an on-call rotation as required.

8+ years of experience as a software engineer.
Proficient in backend system design and development using Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
Experience in developing web applications with declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue.
Ability to deliver major features and system components with a clear technical execution plan.
Comfortable navigating from low-level language idioms to large system architecture.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
