Base Salary
$162k - $216k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain robust data streaming and messaging architecture.
- Own the near real-time data streaming platform.
- Serve as a technical liaison aligning data strategies with business goals.
- Own near real-time data ingestion, processing, and consumption strategies.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, data models, and API layers.
- Collaborate with data stakeholders across engineering, product, and ML to create scalable and maintainable solutions.
Requirements
- Experience with real-time data systems, relational table modeling, and event-driven pipeline architecture.
- Working familiarity with SQL, including query performance analysis, optimization, and construction.
- Advanced proficiency coding in Python.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 3–5 years of Software Engineering experience, especially with event-driven architecture or real-time data streaming.
- Preferred: interest or experience in freight and logistics and understanding of its data-driven challenges.
- Preferred: foundation in data analytics and big data technologies.
