Responsibilities
- Integrate SAST, DAST, SCA, and secrets-scanning controls into CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts that streamline security checks and improve security-tool adoption.
- Analyze moderately difficult application-security issues and guide development teams in vulnerability remediation.
- Standardize secure-coding practices and track application-security metrics across global secure-development operations.
- Collaborate with development, platform, and security teams to embed scalable security practices into software development.
Requirements
- Foundation in application-security concepts, including the OWASP Top 10, web applications, APIs, and modern secure-development practices.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming such as Python for security automation.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
- Ability to independently solve moderately complex technical security challenges and optimize DevSecOps tooling.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with diverse engineering teams.
