Responsibilities
- Develop embedded C applications for automotive airbag systems.
- Work with RTOS, microcontrollers, microprocessors, and automotive embedded software.
- Implement and troubleshoot CAN, FlexRay, UDS, KWP, and SPI communication protocols.
- Use debugging, analysis, configuration-management, defect-tracking, and peer-review tools.
- Work with model-based software development and requirements engineering.
- Develop scripts using Shell, Perl, CAPL, Make, Python, VB, or MATLAB scripting.
- Participate as an independent team member and contribute to dedicated project teams.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience.
- BE in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Telecommunication, or an ME/M.Tech degree.
- Strong hands-on embedded C development experience and knowledge of C inheritance, templates, and pointers.
- Experience with RTOS, automotive embedded development, microcontrollers, microprocessors, and automotive communication protocols.
- Knowledge of CANalyzer, CANoe, CANDiva, CANstress, CANDELA Studio, Lauterbach, Logiscope, Function Generator, and Oscilloscope.
- Experience with Jenkins, ALM/RTC, configuration-management tools, and defect-tracking tools.
- Knowledge of crash physics/dynamics, control systems, embedded systems, requirements engineering, and model-based software development.
- Knowledge of ISO 14229 or ISO 14230 network protocol standards.
- Knowledge of C++ or scripting languages such as Perl, Python, VB, or MATLAB scripting.
- Strong debugging, communication, interpersonal, ownership, and independent-working skills.
