Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain core engine features in collaboration with designers, artists, and engineers.
  • Improve engine workflows and content-development pipelines by identifying bottlenecks and simplifying processes.
  • Diagnose complex issues, fix bugs, and improve client and runtime stability across multiple platforms.
  • Tune performance, improve scalability, and optimize platform-specific behavior for long-term project growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on modern C++ in real-time or game-development environments.
  • Deep understanding of memory management, performance considerations, and software architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of core data structures and their practical application.
  • Experience optimizing code and data layouts for performance and memory efficiency.
  • Hands-on experience with multithreaded programming and concurrency challenges.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with designers, artists, producers, and engineers.
  • Console-platform development or optimization experience, including PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch, is a bonus.
  • Experience with C# or C#-based tools and systems is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with Python, Lua, or similar scripting languages is a bonus.
  • Ability to discuss or provide examples of C++ work involving custom engines, renderers, compilers, embedded systems, or similar projects is a bonus.
