Base Salary
$174k - $239k/yr
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain enterprise-grade solutions in air-gapped environments.
- Build, run, and monitor development tools, pipelines, and infrastructure with a security-first approach.
- Operate autonomously within secure facilities.
- Maintain SLOs and SLIs for workloads without external monitoring or SaaS dependencies.
- Own runbooks and incident response procedures suited to limited external escalation paths.
- Participate in POA&M remediation and support recurring Authority to Operate activities.
- Support mission-critical services used by product teams.
- Provide internal customer service and advocate for SRE and DevOps practices.
- Build and operate CI/CD pipelines that function without internet connectivity.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, Cloud Automation Engineer, or Systems Engineer delivering complex infrastructure projects at scale.
- Experience with container orchestration and runtime environments, including EKS, ECS Fargate, and general container usage.
- Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure automation and Python for developing automation tools.
- Experience with Splunk, CloudWatch, and the Grafana stack.
- Experience with networking concepts including BGP and IPsec management, plus AWS networking services such as VPCs, TGWs, and VPC endpoints.
- Active U.S. TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
- Knowledge of Linux system administration is preferred.
- Experience in secure and compliant environments such as FedRAMP, including FIPS, STIG, and data boundary implementations, is preferred.
- Experience operating tools and services in air-gapped environments is preferred.
