Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, debug, test, and review robotics systems in hardware-in-the-loop and sim-to-real environments.
- Build, configure, and integrate subsystems for sensor fusion, perception, and remote autonomous deployment.
- Develop and tune mobile-robot localization and state estimation, including visual-inertial odometry and SLAM.
- Develop trajectory planning solutions using cost maps, planners, and behavior trees.
- Diagnose and resolve sensor integration, timing, frame consistency, and system failure issues.
- Progressively own applications, defend system designs, provide technical leadership, and mentor less experienced software engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Hands-on experience developing and deploying robotics software on Windows and Linux.
- Experience with Git, package management, logging, profiling, and containerized deployment.
- ROS2 experience is strongly preferred but not required.
- Direct experience in mobile robotics and one or more of robotic vision, state estimation and localization, or sensor fusion.
- Mechanical and electrical engineering experience relevant to robotics is welcome but not required.
- Strong communication, collaboration, interpersonal, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
