Responsibilities
- Gather requirements and own software development from design through implementation and operation.
- Design, review, implement, launch, and operate DynamoDB features and distributed systems.
- Conduct and participate in code and design reviews.
- Mentor teammates and drive continuous engineering improvement.
Requirements
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- At least 3 years of experience building complex software systems.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
