Responsibilities
- Develop Gemalto smart card SIM products for GSM, 3G, and CDMA.
- Design, implement, and validate smart card operating systems, applications, and electrical profiles.
- Work within project teams according to institutionalized processes and delivery standards.
- Improve existing technology platforms, baselines, and development methodologies through prototyping and patent proposals.
- Travel occasionally outside the Philippines.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Assembly, C, C++, Java, and/or Visual Basic.
- Preferred experience with microprocessor and microcontroller architecture.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–6 years of experience as a Software Engineer, preferably in an embedded systems environment.
- Fluency or strong confidence communicating in English.
- Strong initiative, analytical ability, verbal and written communication skills, self-motivation, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure.
