Responsibilities
- Design and build reliable, well-tested end-to-end features using TypeScript and Python.
- Implement integrations with LiveEO’s platform and data services, including clean interfaces and reliable data flows.
- Collaborate across teams on shared components, APIs, architecture, and engineering standards.
- Own architectural decisions involving service boundaries, data models, deployment patterns, scalability, and maintainability.
- Contribute across backend services, APIs, frontend interfaces, and the full product lifecycle.
- Mentor teammates, review code, and provide technical direction within the squad.
- Promote code quality, documentation, testing, observability, and other engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Strong engineering fundamentals in TypeScript and Python.
- Several years of experience building and shipping production full stack applications across backend services, APIs, and modern frontend interfaces.
- Proven ability to own features end to end and deliver robust production-grade solutions.
- Experience designing and implementing system integrations involving APIs, data pipelines, and third-party services.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and deploying and operating scalable services.
- Solid understanding of software architecture and system design with the ability to make pragmatic trade-offs.
- Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional environments with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring engineers or setting technical direction within a team.
