Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, scalable architectures and infrastructure for ML applications.
- Build, maintain, deploy, monitor, and evaluate ML pipelines, models, and applications.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, clients, and stakeholders to translate business needs into ML systems.
- Lead a functional stream of work, facilitate technical discussions, and ensure timely delivery.
- Explore and implement current ML tools, frameworks, platforms, and offerings.
- Identify challenges in ML systems and implement technical improvements.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to the team’s overall ML strategy.
Requirements
- Experience writing clean, maintainable, testable code and performing refactoring.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Shell.
- Knowledge of distributed systems and scalable architectures for large-scale ML applications.
- Experience building, deploying, and maintaining ML systems using Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, MLflow, Kubeflow, or PyTorch.
- Experience applying MLOps principles and CI/CD to machine learning.
- Experience in machine learning engineering and data science, including ML concepts, algorithms, frameworks, and model lifecycles.
- Hands-on experience designing and operating infrastructure for ML training and serving workloads across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Experience with infrastructure as code, monitoring, and ML pipeline deployment using Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, or associated managed ML services.
- Ability to manage stakeholders, navigate ambiguity and conflict, influence technical decisions, and mentor or motivate others.
- Must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident of Singapore due to project security-clearance requirements.
