Responsibilities
- Build and improve data analytics capabilities and web applications centered on customer data and identity.
- Contribute to foundational systems and services supporting the company’s data ecosystem and data products.
- Apply software engineering practices including debugging, testing, version control, and working with APIs.
- Work collaboratively and learn new technologies in a software development environment.
Requirements
- Be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. locally accredited college or university.
- Ideally pursue a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another engineering discipline.
- Have familiarity with web application development, Java, Python, and SQL.
- Understand basic software engineering concepts, including debugging, testing, version control, and APIs.
- Graduate in Spring 2027 or later and maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.8.
- Be at least 18 years old and able to commute to the Champaign, Illinois work location.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Spring Framework, PySpark, AWS, data pipelines, APIs, modern web application technologies, and Extreme Programming practices.
