Base Salary
$92k - $115k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive quality strategy, quality gates, and release criteria across the development lifecycle.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and release readiness reviews.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and CI/CD validation pipelines.
- Perform firmware, embedded systems, hardware-software integration, API, regression, and release testing.
- Execute reliability, stress, performance, and endurance testing for connected products.
- Manage defects, conduct root cause analysis, and validate fixes.
- Develop quality metrics, dashboards, and test reports.
- Collaborate with Firmware Engineers, DevOps Specialists, Architects, and Product Managers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of QA, automation, firmware, embedded systems, or related experience.
- Strong Python and test automation framework experience.
- Experience with API testing, Git, Linux, and scripting.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of BLE, UART, SPI, I2C, MQTT, or RS-485 embedded protocols.
- Experience using Jira, Xray, Zephyr, or TestRail.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience with IoT, connected devices, security testing, and mentoring QA engineers preferred.
