Base Salary
$85k - $193k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, reusable code for dynamic user interfaces across multiple platforms.
- Enhance testing frameworks, test automation, and software craftsmanship.
- Build performant software solutions for customers and partner engineers.
- Monitor and evaluate application performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on commercial and fleet software solutions.
- Apply Test-First and Test-Driven Development practices.
- Build and integrate cloud-native services with Ford enterprise systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, or a combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience with object-oriented languages such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Kotlin, Python, or C#.
- At least 3 years of front-end development experience.
- At least 1 year of experience developing and deploying on GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience building web UIs with React.js, Angular, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.
- Proficiency debugging with modern tooling and experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Terraform.
- Familiarity with end-to-end test automation frameworks.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, Spring/Spring Boot and web-service experience, machine learning or data analysis exposure, SQL and NoSQL knowledge, Agile tools experience, and React expertise with Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, Flux, Mocha, and Jest.
- Experience with object-oriented design, XP practices, data modeling, collaborative code review, and cross-functional stakeholder partnership is preferred.
