Responsibilities
- Own and evolve Sana’s TypeScript, React, and Node.js foundations, including frameworks, services, and conventions.
- Maintain monorepo build tools, dependency management, scripts, and shared services.
- Design and improve local development, testing, and build workflows.
- Optimize web performance, reliability, and security across frontend and Node.js services.
- Define and implement unit, integration, end-to-end, and visual testing strategies and tooling.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines, including caching, checks, and deployment workflows.
- Establish web development, debugging, and observability best practices across teams.
- Collaborate with product engineers to identify and remove development friction through tooling and architecture.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience with web architecture, performance, and developer experience.
- Experience with or willingness to work across TypeScript, Kotlin, Node.js, React, Tailwind, Postgres, Redis, GCP, Kubernetes, and Terraform; experience with all technologies is not required.
- Ability to move quickly and confidently as a developer.
