Responsibilities
- Define and maintain middleware and system architectures aligned with automotive software standards.
- Design high-level software stacks for high-performance compute and zonal controllers.
- Select, integrate, and develop solutions using Adaptive AUTOSAR, ROS2, and Zenoh-based middleware layers.
- Manage AUTOSAR toolchains including Vector DaVinci, EB Tresos, and Elektrobit.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 26262, ASPICE, and ISO/SAE 21434.
- Design inter-process communication and service discovery mechanisms using SOME/IP and DDS.
- Enable service-oriented architectures for next-generation ECUs.
- Architect virtualization solutions for concurrent safety-critical and infotainment operating systems.
- Configure and optimize Type 1 hypervisors, including QNX Hypervisor, OpenSynergy, and Xen.
- Collaborate with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and silicon vendors on BSP integration.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor distributed engineering teams.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of professional experience is required.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Strong expertise in automotive ECU software and AUTOSAR Classic and Adaptive.
- Experience with AUTOSAR components and concepts including BSW, MCAL, RTE, ASW, CDD, PHM, EM, SM, NM, and E2E.
- Proficiency in C, C++, and Embedded C.
- Experience with QNX, Linux, POSIX-compliant systems, secure boot, and secure flash.
- Experience with ARMv8/v9, NVIDIA ORIN MCAL, BSP development, Yocto, and Linux kernel customization.
- Knowledge of hypervisors, VirtIO drivers, CPU pinning, and memory partitioning.
- Experience with CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, DoIP, SOME/IP, DDS, ROS2, and Automotive Ethernet.
- Experience with CANoe, CAPL, dSPACE, and Automation Desk.
- Knowledge of E/E architecture, zonal architecture, and model-based development.
- An AUTOSAR certification and strong functional safety and automotive cybersecurity expertise are preferred.
- Experience working across global teams and complex automotive ecosystems is preferred.
