Responsibilities
- Develop innovative features and solve complex technical problems for Delivery products.
- Build and maintain scalable, highly available, and reliable systems for order processing, logistics, and real-time tracking.
- Contribute to technical roadmaps and execute product requirements in collaboration with senior engineers and cross-functional partners.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, technical mentoring, and engineering excellence initiatives.
- Provide technical expertise to shape the vision for the team’s area and help develop junior engineers into senior engineers.
- Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders on cross-team initiatives.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant software engineering experience designing and building large-scale, highly available, and reliable systems.
- 7+ years of industry experience with one or more programming languages such as Golang, Python, C++, or Java.
- Experience shipping high-quality product features on schedule, including code reviews, documentation, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Experience with large-scale distributed storage and database systems using SQL or NoSQL technologies such as MySQL, Cassandra, or DynamoDB.
- Experience with microservices architectures and strong algorithm and data structures fundamentals.
- Ability to lead high-impact initiatives across teams and develop junior engineers into senior engineers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation ability.
- English proficiency.
- Experience at a large company with 10,000 or more employees and experience with international stakeholders are bonus qualifications.
