Responsibilities
- Design and deliver technology architectures for platforms, products, and engagements.
- Define scalable solutions aligned with performance, capability, business, and technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain Python applications, backend services, data-processing solutions, automation scripts, and APIs.
- Implement and manage cloud-based solutions using AWS services or equivalent GCP and Azure services.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines, ETL processes, and data-storage solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful implementation and deployment.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert, make team and cross-team technical decisions, and provide solutions spanning multiple teams.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings and mentor junior team members.
- Collaborate with and manage the team to support delivery and performance.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in software development, Python or Spring Boot, and technology architecture.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Proficiency in Python, Spring Boot, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud services.
- Experience with containers, automation, databases, application architecture, design patterns, and database integration.
- Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, EKS, ECS, CloudWatch, Glue, and Step Functions.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
- Strong SQL skills and experience developing data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Good understanding of software development methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
- React.js experience is preferred.
