Base Salary
$80k - $117k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Android and iOS applications.
- Automate mobile build, test, code-signing, provisioning, versioning, and release processes.
- Manage build infrastructure, runners or agents, artifact repositories, dependencies, and pipeline integrations.
- Automate deployments to Firebase App Distribution, TestFlight, Google Play Console, and App Store Connect.
- Integrate automated unit, UI, and instrumentation testing, static analysis, linting, and code-quality gates.
- Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot build and release failures, and improve reliability and developer productivity.
- Manage certificates, provisioning profiles, secrets, staged rollouts, feature flags, crash reporting, and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with mobile developers, document release processes, and ensure compliance with app-store policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience as specified by the employer.
- At least 4 years of experience in DevOps or release engineering focused on mobile platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Bitrise, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Gradle, Android build variants and flavors, Gradle plugin development, Xcode build settings, and Fastlane.
- Experience managing Google Play Console and App Store Connect deployments, including API-based automation.
- Proficiency with Bash, Python, Groovy, or Ruby for pipeline automation.
- Experience with Git, code signing, certificates, secrets management, automated testing integration, Docker, artifact repositories, and dependency management.
- Knowledge of mobile app security practices, monitoring and alerting integrations, and build-pipeline health management.
- Preferred experience includes Firebase App Distribution, TestFlight, Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, feature flagging, phased rollouts, static analysis, and app-store submission processes.
