Responsibilities

Design, create, and optimize reusable GitLab CI/CD pipelines and contribute to pipeline templatization.
Develop reusable and secure Terraform modules for infrastructure as code.
Use Ansible for configuration management and automated server setup.
Implement secure Docker containerization and manage complex Kubernetes clusters, including networking, security, and resource management.
Create and maintain Helm charts for Kubernetes orchestration.
Design secure cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including encryption, IAM, and network security controls.
Investigate and mitigate security incidents and vulnerabilities in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
Collaborate with development and cybersecurity teams to integrate security throughout the development lifecycle and meet compliance standards.
Document DevOps processes and security procedures and provide security status and compliance reporting.
Lead and support DevOps engineering activities across internal teams, cloud providers, vendors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of DevOps experience, including at least 2 years in a leading DevOps role.
Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
Knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
Understanding of network protocols and security best practices.
Significant experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management.
Experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert are preferred or applicable.
