Responsibilities
- Provision, operate, administer, and scale infrastructure hosted on AWS and on-premises environments.
- Implement proactive monitoring, observability, distributed tracing, infrastructure metrics, and failure detection.
- Manage capacity planning, resource right-sizing, cloud cost attribution, tagging, and governance.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with continuous verification, automated checks, canary deployments, and progressive delivery.
- Provision infrastructure using infrastructure as code and GitOps workflows.
- Identify and resolve architectural bottlenecks, reliability risks, and security vulnerabilities.
- Lead incident response, blameless root-cause analysis, self-healing workflows, on-call operations, and maintenance windows.
- Enforce automated DevSecOps controls including SAST, DAST, container scanning, and software composition analysis.
- Manage operational incidents through ticketing platforms and meet required service-level agreements.
- Track platform health and engineering performance using DORA metrics and availability KPIs.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, toil reduction, technical mentorship, and peer reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Communication, Electronics, or Computer Science.
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Must have Linux and Windows administration, AWS and cloud operations, Terraform, Docker, Jenkins administration, and Git knowledge.
- Preferred knowledge of Ansible, Kubernetes, monitoring or log analysis tools, scripting, and ticketing systems such as Jira.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, debugging, problem-solving, communication, ownership, and customer-orientation skills.
- English proficiency is required; German or French is a plus.
