Responsibilities
- Own and drive the technical vision and architecture for platform automation.
- Design and build large-scale automation frameworks, tools, and scale-test environments.
- Lead end-to-end integration, load, and stress testing for backup and restore across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Set and promote testing, automation, and product quality best practices across multiple teams.
- Drive adoption of agentic AI-assisted coding and AI agents.
- Partner with Development, Product Management, and Customer Success leadership on strategy, risk, and customer escalations.
- Mentor and develop engineers through design discussions, code reviews, and technical coaching.
- Influence cross-team technical decisions and align implementations with broader engineering direction.
Requirements
- 8+ years of industry experience designing and building automation and/or test frameworks for large-scale production systems.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Deep expertise in Python or Go and scalable, maintainable automation architecture.
- Proven hands-on technical leadership experience setting direction and raising quality standards across teams.
- Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud-native system design.
- Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical decisions across an organization.
- Working knowledge of English.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Experience with cloud data protection, backup, or large-scale storage systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with agentic AI-assisted coding tools and building AI agents is preferred.
