Base Salary

$150k - $240k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and engineers to build intuitive Buyer Solutions software experiences.
  • Design, build, test, debug, maintain, and scale frontend, backend, and related user-facing software components.
  • Integrate frontend components with backend APIs and present interactive data visualizations efficiently.
  • Implement backend APIs and middleware and integrate them with databases.
  • Manage authentication, authorization, sessions, and tokens using services such as Clerk or Auth0.
  • Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability using content delivery networks.
  • Evaluate and recommend software tools, systems, and architectures as the product evolves.
  • Promote well-designed systems, test-driven software, proactive communication, and high-quality delivery.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in both frontend and backend software ecosystems, such as TypeScript, React, Go, and Python.
  • Ability to translate complex product requirements into functional software and collaborate effectively with engineers and designers.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality software using sound development practices.
  • Customer empathy and a focus on quality user experiences.
  • Willingness to stay current with relevant technologies, tools, libraries, services, frameworks, and breakthroughs.
  • Discipline using generative AI tools in day-to-day work.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree or higher, in any field.
  • Preferred: senior or staff-level software development experience and technical leadership on high-performing product engineering teams.
  • Preferred: expert TypeScript and Go skills, advanced Python experience, and advanced gRPC and Protocol Buffer experience.
  • Preferred: knowledge of relational databases, SQL, cloud storage, UI kits, design systems, component libraries, CDNs, edge servers, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Preferred: technical project management experience in agile, product-focused teams and flexibility in high-pressure, changing environments.
