Base Salary
$72k - $122k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans for financial software applications.
- Execute manual and automated tests covering functionality, performance, security, and regression scenarios.
- Drive implementation of test automation frameworks and tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Identify, document, and track defects while partnering with development teams on resolution.
- Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
- Validate RESTful services, inspect browser behavior and network traffic, and perform backend data validation with SQL.
- Maintain test cases, test results, and testing process documentation.
- Leverage AI-assisted testing frameworks and tools to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and quality practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably in fintech or a related industry.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, techniques, and automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Browser Developer Tools for DOM inspection and network traffic analysis.
- Experience using Postman to validate RESTful services, status codes, and data integrity.
- Competence writing SQL queries for backend data validation and database consistency checks.
- Experience working in fast-paced, sprint-based environments and reprioritizing tasks as needs evolve.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, adaptability, and attention-to-detail skills.
