Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and deploy embedded edge-computing systems for tactical, disconnected, and rugged environments.
- Integrate CPUs, GPUs, TPUs, and FPGAs into edge pipelines.
- Optimize and deploy AI models for real-time inference on embedded targets.
- Design zero-trust isolation, hardening, and least-privilege runtimes.
- Create packaged edge stacks that synchronize with the cloud while operating independently at the tactical edge.
- Develop solutions using embedded software languages, containerization, network architecture, and CI/CD tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical problems.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software development and embedded-systems experience.
- At least 2 years of experience integrating CPUs, GPUs, TPUs, or FPGAs into edge pipelines.
- Experience with zero-trust designs, system hardening, least-privilege runtimes, and independently operating edge stacks.
- Experience with C, C++, Rust, and Python or similar programming languages.
- Experience with containerization technologies, microservice network architecture, and CI/CD tools including GitLab.
- Experience with embedded software languages and products such as Embedded Platforms, FreeRTOS, VxWorks, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SELinux, Ansible, Bash, Make, and XML technologies is preferred.
- Experience deploying optimized AI models to embedded targets, including quantization, pruning, and edge model telemetry, is preferred.
- A high school diploma/GED and 10+ years of professional experience, or a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of professional experience.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance; Top Secret clearance is preferred.
- AWS IoT Core or Greengrass, Solutions Architect, or NVIDIA Certified Professional certification is preferred.
