Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and support eCommerce and portal application features.
  • Contribute to front-end, back-end, API, and integration development.
  • Implement user stories, enhancements, bug fixes, and reusable maintainable code.
  • Support product search, registration and login, self-service, shopping cart and checkout, order tracking, portal navigation, and notification workflows.
  • Troubleshoot application defects, integration issues, and performance problems, including production support and root cause analysis.
  • Write unit, integration, and other automated tests; participate in code reviews and release validation.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment validation, observability, reliability, documentation, and technical support materials.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with identity and access management, payment, ERP/order, CRM, content management, and product information systems.
  • Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, designers, QA, and engineers in Agile ceremonies and delivery activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Typically 2+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Experience building or supporting web applications, APIs, or digital platforms.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and a front-end framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
  • Working knowledge of Java, C#, Node.js, or Python for back-end development.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, integrations, version control systems, testing frameworks, software development lifecycle concepts, debugging, and code quality practices.
  • Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases and Agile development practices.
  • Preferred experience with eCommerce, portal applications, customer-facing digital solutions, APIs, authentication, and secure development concepts.
  • Preferred familiarity with Adobe Commerce/Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, Adobe Experience Manager, or Sitecore.
  • Preferred exposure to Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, application monitoring, and regulated industries such as healthcare, life sciences, or distribution.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
