Responsibilities
- Support the development, testing, maintenance, and integration of reusable frontend web components.
- Implement modern, scalable, and user-centered frontend solutions using web technologies.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and product stakeholders to translate requirements into frontend components.
- Improve the usability, accessibility, responsiveness, consistency, quality, and performance of frontend applications and component libraries.
- Document components, usage guidelines, and development standards.
- Participate in debugging, testing, optimization, and continuous improvement of frontend development processes.
Requirements
- Be an enrolled student in computer science, media informatics, software engineering, or a comparable degree program.
- Have first practical experience or solid knowledge in frontend development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Be interested in modern frontend architectures and component-based development.
- Demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, collaborative, independent, proactive, and organized working abilities.
- Be fluent in English.
- Frontend framework or library experience with React, Angular, Vue, Lit, or similar technologies is preferred.
- Familiarity with Git, package managers, responsive design, web accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and frontend development workflows is preferred.
- Conversational German or willingness to improve German proficiency is preferred.
