Responsibilities
- Develop software and automation solutions that improve factory efficiency, equipment utilization, operational visibility, and manufacturing processes.
- Work on projects involving software development, automation, data analysis, system integration, and manufacturing systems.
- Use AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude for research, development, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating and testing resulting solutions.
- Own a defined internship project with clear objectives, measurable outcomes, and tangible organizational value.
- Collaborate with software engineers, automation engineers, process engineers, manufacturing personnel, IT professionals, technicians, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience with at least one programming language.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, organization, teamwork, and time-management skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies, work within existing systems, take ownership of tasks, and complete them.
- Desirable experience includes Rust application development, SQL, relational databases, full-stack web applications, REST APIs, state machines, workflow engines, event-driven architectures, Git, manufacturing, automation, industrial systems, or relevant personal, academic, open-source, or internship projects.
- Ability to build reliable, maintainable, practical, and valuable solutions for technical and non-technical users.
