Base Salary
$405k - $485k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the technical design and end-to-end delivery of core enterprise-facing products across the stack.
- Partner with product, design, go-to-market, enterprise customers, and sales to turn workflows into shipped products.
- Set technical direction and standards for architecture, code quality, and team development practices.
- Collaborate with research to shape evaluations, identify model failure modes, and feed customer learnings into model development.
- Build multi-player asynchronous agents for goal-oriented, multi-step department processes triggered by webhooks, forms, or email.
- Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across the team through influence.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of software engineering experience, ideally including 2 or more years at Staff or an equivalent technical leadership level.
- Experience leading the design and delivery of complex enterprise or B2B products across the full stack.
- Experience building AI products and translating model capabilities into useful applications.
- Comfort working directly with enterprise customers and translating customer insights into technical decisions.
- Experience building products from 0 to 1 in fast-moving environments and setting technical direction with limited precedent.
- Ability to drive cross-team alignment and ship impactful work through influence rather than authority.
- Experience partnering with research to improve domain-specific model capabilities and evaluation frameworks is advantageous.
- Experience building extensibility surfaces such as plugins, integrations, or agent tooling is advantageous.
- Exposure to both product-led growth and direct enterprise sales is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
