Responsibilities
- Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, map business processes, and document customer journeys and high-level business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technology solutions, architectural roadmaps, capability maps, and technical recommendations.
- Research industry practices and develop strategies and solutions for designated business areas.
- Collaborate with IT delivery teams and leadership on technical debt, opportunities, portfolio execution, and future roadmaps.
- Participate in IT portfolio intake and prioritization and advocate for architectural recommendations.
- Support architecture governance through the Architecture Community and Architecture Review Board.
- Ensure solutions and roadmaps comply with architecture standards, methodologies, regulations, and best practices.
- Build business relationships and guide process changes needed to implement recommended technology solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive solution documentation.
- Coach, mentor, and lead internal and external technical project resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least 10 years of IT experience, including at least 2 years in a senior-level role.
- At least 4 years of experience integrating with ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred.
- At least 2 years of global ecommerce experience; SAP Commerce experience is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience with consumer-facing omni-channel technology spanning ecommerce and retail.
- Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft or SAP BTP Suite is preferred.
- Proven project and process management skills.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, stakeholder management, strategic thinking, and business acumen.
- Ability to communicate complex issues and business value and influence without authority.
- Proven record of delivering complex, high-impact initiatives.
- Prior IT leadership experience and retail or wholesale apparel experience are preferred.
- Experience defining API-first, event-driven integration strategies using composable solution design across an omni-channel ecosystem.
