Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Architect secure, scalable, and maintainable cloud and DevOps solutions in partnership with development and operations teams.
- Own the enhancement, automation, and maintenance of CI/CD and software lifecycle infrastructure.
- Design and deploy Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform.
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS environments and containerized applications.
- Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters and manage deployments using YAML and Helm.
- Implement configuration management with Ansible and develop Python and Bash automation.
- Maintain AWS security controls including IAM, Service Control Policies, and permission sets.
- Troubleshoot cloud-native and containerized systems and applications and improve reliability and operational performance.
- Support monitoring and observability using CloudWatch, Elasticsearch, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Support infrastructure for high-performance computing, data engineering, and ML workloads.
- Mentor junior engineers, participate in peer reviews, and share DevOps best practices across engineering teams.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of relevant professional experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, systems administration, network administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in systems, network, or cloud administration roles.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience designing and deploying AWS-based DevOps solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Strong AWS experience including IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, and Systems Manager.
- Expert-level Linux administration experience.
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
- Strong experience with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or GitHub, with GitLab preferred.
- Experience administering MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Neo4j databases.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as CloudWatch and Elasticsearch.
- Strong Git proficiency, including branching strategies, workflows, and version control.
- Understanding of DevSecOps principles and cloud security best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with AWS Organizations, Service Catalog, AWS CDK, Boto3, Datadog, NIST 800-171, CMMC-scoped environments, GitLab architecture, Artifactory, Jira, Wrike, Redmine, Jenkins, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, ELK Stack, cybersecurity, and aerospace or classified software environments.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a security clearance.
