Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in test planning, requirements traceability, risk-based testing, estimation, and QA scheduling.
- Develop and maintain test cases, procedures, scripts, traceability records, and test data for OEM Drivers.
- Execute manual and automated system test procedures and report pass/fail results against quality plans.
- Identify, document, and mitigate technical risks through structured test activities.
- Continuously improve OEM Driver testing approaches and methodologies.
- Provide QA guidance, knowledge, leadership, and mentoring.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field with an emphasis in software quality assurance.
- At least 3 years of proven software testing experience.
- Knowledge of requirements management, quality control, and configuration management.
- Experience with laboratory and field test instrumentation and automation, including client/server and embedded technology configurations.
- Understanding of wired and wireless networking and networking protocols.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, communication, and independent-work skills.
- Proficiency in ISTQB/ASTQB software testing principles and practices; certification is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of Perl, Python, or an equivalent scripting language.
