Base Salary
$107k - $130k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and enhancement of Rural King’s headless HCL Commerce v9.1 platform for e-commerce, order management, and customer experience.
- Coordinate technical milestones and deliverables with the Project Management team.
- Provide technical oversight and code reviews for vendor-led HCL Commerce development.
- Collaborate with front-end teams using React and Next.js to integrate headless APIs.
- Develop and optimize APIs and data models connecting HCL Commerce with enterprise systems.
- Work with Oracle Integration Cloud and IBM Sterling OMS on Cloud to support cross-system data synchronization.
- Participate in architecture and design decisions involving scalability, performance, and extensibility.
- Troubleshoot commerce services, APIs, and integration issues.
- Create technical documentation, including integration specifications, deployment notes, and architecture diagrams.
- Mentor vendor developers and internal technical partners on code quality and platform understanding.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience developing and supporting HCL Commerce v9.x or similar enterprise e-commerce platforms.
- Proven experience with headless commerce architecture and API-driven integrations.
- Hands-on experience with React and Next.js front-end integrations or strong familiarity with their interactions in a headless setup.
- Solid understanding of catalog, pricing, promotions, cart, and checkout data flows.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems such as IBM Sterling OMS on Cloud and Oracle Integration Cloud.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with internal stakeholders and external vendor teams.
- Experience using Jira or similar tools for tracking and documentation.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
- Ability to bridge technical and non-technical discussions and work independently in a fast-paced omni-channel retail environment.
