Base Salary
$197k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and guide developers working on distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Build customer-facing micro-frontends, back-end architectures, supplier integrations, unified shopping experiences, pricing workflows, and distributed booking pipelines.
- Collaborate with product managers and architects to deliver cloud-based solutions and define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks.
- Set technical standards across Agile teams for design, development, and operational excellence.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, refactor systems, reduce technical debt, improve performance, and influence long-term technology strategy.
- Mentor engineers, participate in technology communities, and establish coding standards and design patterns across teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field is required.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience is required; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies is required.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, 7+ years coding with multiple listed languages, database experience, cloud experience, open-source framework contributions, front-end framework experience, API development, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, Git-based version control, cloud troubleshooting, AI coding tools, mentoring, observability, and leadership of cross-functional or large-scale engineering initiatives.
